Yesterday, we gathered at the beautiful Antico Frantoio s.a.s - Sambuca di Sicilia, which warmly hosted our event, to share ideas, practices, and visions for the future of rural life.![]()

🌿 Together with five local farmers and rural tourism operators, we explored how sustainable practices can shape resilient agricultural models. Each participant began building an informal info sheet to tell their story of:![]()
• Environmental sustainability (resources, biodiversity, energy)![]()
• Social sustainability (community ties, training, inclusion)![]()
• Economic sustainability (innovation, supply chains, resilience)![]()

Thanks to the project's activities, LAND Impresa Sociale enabled students from the Pietro Piazza Institute in Palermo to discover several local initiatives engaged in responsible tourism. These include organisations sucAddiopizzo TravelravelPalma Nana Nana which are committed to anti-mafia principles and to promoting social and environmental sustainability. Others, like @Lisca BiancaMoltivoltivolti advocate for a model of tourism rooted in inclusion, respect for the sea, and support for vulnerable communities, offering individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds opportunities to gain meaningful employment.
