One goal of the #EXTOR training program is to narrow the gap between theories and practise and bring tourism learners and tourism businesses together. ![]()
After the field trip in Iceland (part of the rural tourism training program) we got a lot of positive feedback and gratitude from our participants for bringing them together with Icelandic businesses where they got insider information at first hand and could establish new contacts. ![]()
The picture shows the Icelandic group visiting Gróðurhúsið, which is a stylish eco-friendly hotel, food hall, and shopping hub that blends Icelandic design, local flavors, and geothermal charm.![]()

Einurð is fully on the top in the test run of the EXTOR rural tourism training program.![]()
For our fieldtrip to visit and get insider insights into small Icelandic tourism businesses, entrepreneurial initiatives and startups, we got a interested group of tourism VET learnes involved. ![]()
