🎓 Successful Launch of the EXTOR Pilot Course 🌿We are excited to share that the EXTOR Training Programme pilot has been successfully carried out in collaboration with a tourism school in Austria!📅 What happened:· Two engaging online sessions introduced students to practical tools and concepts in sustainable and rural tourism· An inspiring excursion to local/rural tourism businesses gave students hands-on insights into real operations· As a final outcome, the students created both a promotional video and a business presentation – showcasing their creativity, teamwork, and innovative ideas for the tourism sector🌍 The pilot not only provided valuable learning experiences but also strengthened the connection between education and local tourism stakeholders.A big thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to making this pilot such a success – we can’t wait to see how the EXTOR project continues to grow!#EXTORProject #SustainableTourism #RuralTourism #TourismEducation #DigitalLearning #VocationalTraining #InnovationInTourism #StudentCreativity #ErasmusPlus ... The third EXTOR International Meeting is over. It has been two very intense days, but we leave Greece with joy to continue working! We would like to thank Teresa and Despoina from OTC for welcoming us to a fantastic location: the Mercouri Estate - Κτήμα Μερκούρη farm, which has been producing excellent wine and oil for 140 years. In this unique setting, we had the opportunity to meet the owners, who guided us on a journey of discovery through rural and wine tourism in this area of the Peloponnese, a type of tourism that has built bridges in the Mediterranean and set the guidelines for this sector in Greece. We learned a lot and discussed the next stages of the project, which will open up to new developments and opportunities for entrepreneurs in the rural tourism sector, students and teachers in vocational schools, and policymakers in rural communities.
