🌱 Youth‑Led Regeneration in Rural Spain – Focus on Castilla y León and BeyondAcross Spain, young changemakers are breathing new life into rural territories. INFODEF highlights national and regional initiatives in which youth from VET centres are creating innovative pathways in tourism, culture and community development — fully aligned with the values of the EXTOR project: inclusion, innovation and sustainability. Here are five inspiring examples of local communities where these efforts are taking shape:📌 Cuenca de Campos (Valladolid, Castilla y León) – Through the Fundación Re‑Habitar Tierra de Campos, young professionals and students are rehabilitating heritage buildings using traditional materials and linking architecture, gastronomy and tourism. es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fundaci%C3%B3n_Re-habitar_Tierra_de_Campos?utm_source=chatgpt.com📌 Tierra de Campos region (Castilla y León) – The “Activate” programme coordinated by several Local Action Groups supports youth entrepreneurship and rural revitalisation. redpac.org.es/en/news/local-action-groups-castile-and-leon-join-forces-combat-youth-unemployment-...📌 Navarre (northern Spain) – The “Huella Positiva” project offers 15 regenerative tourism experiences where visitors actively contribute to natural and cultural heritage conservation. www.tourspain.es/en/b2b/experiences-tourism-regenerative-navarre/?utm_source=chatgpt.com📌 Border area between Spain and Portugal – Borabeirã / Belmonte (Castilla y León / Portugal) – The Borabeirã Village Project, crossing Spanish‑Portuguese territories, shows how cooperation and young newcomer residents can revitalise rural communities. ruralpact.rural-vision.europa.eu/good-practice/borabeira-village-project-attracting-new-residents...These initiatives demonstrate how rural tourism, local entrepreneurship and youth empowerment can converge to design a sustainable future for less‑populated areas. At INFODEF we are proud to work in this direction through the EXTOR pilot, combining vocational education with practical rural tourism experiences.#EXTORProject #YouthInTourism #RegenerativeTourism #RuralInnovation #SustainableTravel #Spain #CastillaYLeón #ErasmusPlus ...
